In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting North Laurel Jaguars baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Rowan County Vikings.
The Jaguars (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Eastern (Louisville, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Eastern got by Centreville (Clifton, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Rowan County falls to 11-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Franklin-Simpson lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)
