The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL) and the host Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL), saw Von Steuben's volleyball squad nip Hancock by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Von Steuben upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Panthers host Jones (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a Chicago Public Gold bout on Friday, April 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

The Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Cristo Rey Jesuit for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 6. Hancock will play a Cristeros squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL). The Cristeros record now stands at 5-1.
