Longwood Lions (Middle Island, NY) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY), 11-3 in a league battle.
The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sachem East for a Section 11 I battle on Thursday, April 7. Longwood will clash with a squad coming off a 18-1 league loss to Northport (Northport, NY). The record now stands at 0-1.
