In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mountain Brook Spartans soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Gardendale Rockets.
The Spartans (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Oak Mountain nudged Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.
With the loss, Gardendale drops to 2-7 on the season. The Rockets travel to Altamont (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, April 7. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-2. Altamont lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL)
