Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ottawa-Glandorf Titans (Ottawa, OH), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montpelier for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7.
With the loss, Ottawa-Glandorf falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH) to battle the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
