The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the visiting South Plantation Paladins to 8 in the Mavericks non-league win on Tuesday.
The Mavericks (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Westminster Christian (Miami, FL). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Westminster Christian nudged Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL), 9-8, in a non-league match.
The Paladins (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Palmetto (Miami, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Palmetto was nipped by Columbus (Miami, FL), 9-4, in a non-league contest.
