Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI), 13-6 in a non-league battle.
The Comets now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davison for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 7.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) in a Capital Area battle, on Saturday, April 9. Lakeview will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
