Arizona High School Softball - Amphitheater knocked off by Buena

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 17-2.

With the triumph, Buena moves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Colts host Cienega (Vail, AZ) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Southern contest on Thursday, April 7. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 12-10. Cienega won 12-10 in their recent non-league contest against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a 4A Gila contest, on Thursday, April 7. Amphitheater will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 19-5 record after their 15-0 league win over Douglas (Douglas, AZ).
