Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT) and the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), witnessed Bolton's softball squad tip Canton by a count of 9-5.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Coventry for a North Central Connecticut match on Thursday, April 7. Bolton will face a Patriots squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Canton moves to 0-2 on the season. The Warriors host Rockville (Vernon, CT) to face the Rams in a North Central Connecticut match on Friday, April 8. The Rams go into the match with a record of 1-0.
