Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Riders now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Laurel for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
With the loss, Milford falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE) to battle the Golden Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Golden Knights enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
