Crab Orchard Trojans (Marion, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gallatin County Hawks (Junction, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hamilton County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11.

With the loss, Gallatin County falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Pope County (Golconda, IL) to face the Pirates in a Greater Egyptian challenge on Friday, April 8. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 2-7.
