The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the host Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA), saw Placer's softball squad achieve victory over Foresthill by a count of 17-3.

The Hillmen now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Ponderosa for a Foothill Valley League match on Thursday, April 7. Placer will face a Bruins squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Foresthill falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildfires travel to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Thursday, April 7. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 3-4. Golden Sierra won 21-4 in their recent league match against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA)
