The Governor Mifflin Mustangs softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Garden Spot Spartans to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Governor Mifflin moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Wilson (West Lawn, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a Berks County 1 game on Friday, April 8. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-1. Wilson lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA)

In their next game, the Spartans play the Northern Lebanon Vikings (Fredericksburg, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 3 game, on Friday, April 8. Garden Spot will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 10-1 league win over Manheim Central (Manheim, PA).
