The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) and the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), saw Pilot Point's softball squad nip Ponder by a count of 10-5.

The Bearcats now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host S & S Consolidated for a 3A Region II District 10 match on Friday, April 8. Pilot Point will face a Rams squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Rams record now stands at 7-12.

With the loss, Ponder falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 10 match on Friday, April 8. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-10. Callisburg lost 14-1 in their recent league match against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX)
