Pennsylvania High School Softball - United bounces Purchase Line

The United Lions routed the host Purchase Line Red Dragons softball squad by a final score of 22-5 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Panthers go into the battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, River Valley topped Homer-Center (Homer City, PA), 7-0, in a league battle.

The Red Dragons now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Penns Manor for a Heritage battle on Wednesday, April 6. Purchase Line will meet a Comets squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Comets record now stands at 1-2.
