Connecticut High School Baseball - Pomfret School loses to Canterbury School

April 5, 2023: New Milford, CT 06776

The Canterbury School Saints crushed the visiting Pomfret School Griffins baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Saints now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frederick Gunn for a Western New England bout on Saturday, April 8. Canterbury School will face a Highlanders team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Griffins face the Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA) in a Western New England bout, on Saturday, April 8. Pomfret School will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 11-0 league loss to Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT).
