Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) and the host Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY), saw Daviess County's baseball squad knock off Sayre by a count of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 5. Daviess County will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record.
