California High School Baseball - Mendota can't hold off Kern Valley

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Kern Valley Broncs baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Mendota Aztecs.
The Broncs (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Rosamond (Rosamond, CA). The Roadrunners go into the High Desert game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Rosamond tipped Boron (Boron, CA), 22-1, in a league game.
The Aztecs (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Avenal (Avenal, CA). The Buccaneers go into the West Sierra game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Avenal tipped Laton (Laton, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
