Illinois High School Baseball - Lexington loses to Woodland

The Woodland Warriors baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 8 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Midland (Varna, IL). The Timberwolves go into the Tri-County match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Midland was overwhelmed by Woodland (Streator, IL), 4-3, in a league match.
The Minutemen (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks go into the Heart of Illinois match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Tremont tipped Havana (Havana, IL), 5-1, in a non-league match.
