In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Putnam County Midgets baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Maryville Spoofhounds.
The Midgets (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 3-6 record.
The Spoofhounds (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Cameron (Cameron, MO). The Dragons go into the Class 4 District 16 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Cameron tipped Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO), 12-2, in a non-league game.
