Arizona High School Baseball - Payson loses to San Tan Foothills

The Payson Longhorns baseball team (Payson, AZ), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ)

The Sabercats now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Coolidge for a 3A South Central outing on Thursday, April 6. San Tan Foothills will face a Bears team coming off a 16-5 league win over Globe (Globe, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 12-7.

Next, the Longhorns face the Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ) in a 3A East outing, on Thursday, April 6. Payson will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 7-9 record after their 15-4 league loss to Winslow (Winslow, AZ).
