The Sargent Farmers baseball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Sierra Grande Panthers to 4 in the Farmers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Farmers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Center (Center, CO). The Vikings go into the 2A/1A Southern Peaks match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Center gained a win over South Park (Fairplay, CO), 13-4, in a league match.
The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Manzanola (Manzanola, CO). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, Manzanola was overwhelmed by Holly (Holly, CO), 16-0, in a league match.
