The Westminster Academy Crusaders baseball team (Opelousas, LA), was overwhelmed 13-0 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA)
The Fighting Blue Jays now hold a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Opelousas Catholic for a 1A District 5 outing on Monday, April 10. St. Edmund will confront a Vikings team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.
Next, the Crusaders confront the False River Gators (New Roads, LA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 10. Westminster Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record.
