The Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals topped the host De La Salle Meteors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicago Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, April 6. Blue Island Eisenhower will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.
The Meteors (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Latin (Chicago, IL). The Romans enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Latin was dropped by Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
