The Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) volleyball nudged the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Loyola Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Ramblers travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to face the Friars in a Chicago Catholic - White outing on Tuesday, April 18. The Friars go into the outing with a record of 3-2. Fenwick lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL)
The Hawks now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Zion-Benton for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 6. Maine South will face a Zee-Bees squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 2-0.
