In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) volleyball squad knocked off the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Lions battle the Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 6. Lyons will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL).
With the loss, Waubonsie Valley drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to battle the Falcons in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 12. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 8-3.
