In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting George Wythe Maroons soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes.
The Maroons (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Eastern Montgomery nudged James River (Buchanan, VA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
