St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), 16-5 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kennedy for a Naugatuck Valley - Brass challenge on Monday, April 10.

With the loss, Ansonia falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT) to face the Condors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Condors enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. O'Brien RVT won 24-0 in their recent league challenge against Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT)
