Kentucky High School Softball - Boyd County Margaretta

Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cardinal O'Hara for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 5.

With the loss, Margaretta moves to 3-2 on the season. The Polar bears travel to Blazer (Ashland, KY) to meet the Tomcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 6. The Tomcats go into the battle with a record of 1-3.
