In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) softball team held off the host Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Rising Sun moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers host Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD) to play the in a Upper Chesapeake Bay contest on Friday, April 14. The come into the contest with a record of 4-0.
