Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Logan for a Cardinal challenge on Thursday, April 6. Chapmanville Regional will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Scott (Madison, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Tug Valley falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Pike County Central lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY)
