In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 13-1.

With the triumph, Sunnyside moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Marana (Tucson, AZ) to play the Tigers in a 6A South contest on Thursday, April 6. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 13-9. Marana lost 4-1 in their recent league contest against Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ)

In their next game, the Jaguars play the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran contest, on Thursday, April 6. Desert View will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 17-2 league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ).
