Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC) and the visiting Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC), witnessed Ridge View's softball squad tip Dreher by a count of 6-5.

The Blazers now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Westwood for a AAAA Region 5 match on Thursday, April 6. Ridge View will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Ridge View (Columbia, SC). The Redhawks record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Dreher moves to 2-10 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Airport (West Columbia, SC) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, April 6. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 11-6. Airport won 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Ridge View (Columbia, SC)
