The Guilford Vikings softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Harvard Hornets to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Guilford improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to clash with the Bucs in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 game on Monday, April 10. The Bucs come into the game with a record of 1-2.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a Kishwaukee River game, on Thursday, April 6. Harvard will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 18-2 non-league win over Fenton (Bensenville, IL).
