Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northside Rams (Northport, AL), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mortimer Jordan for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. Thompson will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Northside falls to 19-10 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 19-7. Carbon Hill won 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL)
