Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) and the host Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Asheville's baseball squad knock off Princess Anne by a count of 9-3.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a The Mountain 3A/4A battle, on Monday, April 8. Asheville will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Black Hawks enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 7-3 non-league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).

The Cavaliers now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ocean Lakes for a Beach battle on Wednesday, April 10.
