The Calhoun Yellow Jackets baseball team (Calhoun, GA), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA)

The Rams now hold a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayson for a 7A Area 4 outing on Monday, April 8. Newton will confront a Rams team coming off a 15-6 non-league win over Denmark (Alpharetta, GA). The Rams record now stands at 13-10.

Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA) in a 5A Area 7 outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 6-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 11-11 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA).
