The Heritage Patriots baseball team (Conyers, GA), was tipped 5-4 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA)

The Purple Hurricanes now hold a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hart County for a 3A Area 8 outing on Tuesday, April 9. Monroe Area will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Banks County (Homer, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-13.

Next, the Patriots confront the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a 5A Area 8 outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Heritage will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Gladiators go into the outing with a 3-17 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Banks County (Homer, GA).
