The Lambert Longhorns got by the host Hillgrove Hawks baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Longhorns now possess a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they host Centennial for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. Lambert will face a Knights team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 5-18.

Next, the Hawks face the North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) in a 7A Area 3 bout, on Monday, April 8. Hillgrove will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Wolfpack enter the bout with a 16-6 record after their 11-1 non-league win over South Paulding (Douglasville, GA).
