Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ilwaco upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Fishermen host Ocosta (Westport, WA) to battle the Wildcats in a 2B Pacific test on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-0. Ocosta won 20-10 in their recent non-league test against Onalaska (Onalaska, WA)

With the defeat, Hoquiam falls to 2-6 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Astoria (Astoria, OR) to battle the Fishermen in a non-league test on Friday, April 5. The Fishermen come into the test with a record of 4-6.
