The Logan Chieftains baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Maysville Panthers to 6 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Friday.
The Chieftains (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Morgan was edged by Philo (Duncan Falls, OH), 13-12, in a league match.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Generals go into the Muskingum Valley match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Sheridan edged Berne Union (Sugar Grove, OH), 6-5, in a non-league match.
