In Friday's non-league battle, the host Cherokee Trail Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Regis Groff Fusion.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mullen (Denver, CO). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Mullen achieved victory over Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Fusion clash with the George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO) in a battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Regis Groff will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record.
