In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Burroughs Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grant Lancers.
The Bears (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA). The Hunters come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Canoga Park lost by Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Lancers clash with the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 5. Grant will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA).
