The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA) and the host Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA), saw Rancho Alamitos's volleyball squad beat Katella by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Rancho Alamitos upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Vaqueros host Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA) to play the Lobos in a Garden Grove bout on Tuesday, April 9. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Los Amigos lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against La Quinta (Westminster, CA)

The Knights now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Godinez Fundamental for a Golden West bout on Wednesday, April 10. Katella will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 19-0.
