The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) and the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), saw Maine South's volleyball squad nip Stevenson by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Maine South upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Niles North (Skokie, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Niles North won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Palatine (Palatine, IL)

The Patriots now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Township for a North Suburban bout on Saturday, April 6. Stevenson will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-8.
