In Friday's non-league battle, the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Davidson Day Patriots (Davidson, NC), by a count of 17-5.

Coming up next, the Vikings clash with the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro battle, on Wednesday, April 10. Northwest Guilford will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Whirlies come into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 12-4 league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
