Illinois High School Lacrosse - Payton College Prep can't get by Taft

In Friday's league test, the host Taft Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Payton College Prep Grizzlies.

The Eagles now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. Taft will face a Giants squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Giants record now stands at 2-1.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Jones Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public test, on Tuesday, April 9. Payton College Prep will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 7-2 league loss to Taft (Chicago, IL).
