Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds (Windsor, CO) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Firebirds confront the Campion Academy Cougars (Loveland, CO) in a 2A Metro Hills West challenge, on Monday, April 8. Windsor Charter Academy will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to Dawson School (Lafayette, CO).

The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Creek for a 2A Metro Hills West challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Gilpin County will confront a Golddiggers team coming off a 1-1 league Nederland (Nederland, CO). The Golddiggers record now stands at 1-2.
