In Friday's league battle, the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) lacrosse squad edged the host Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA), by a count of 10-9.
Coming up next, the Spartans clash with the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a Patriot battle, on Friday, April 12. West Springfield will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 8-3 league loss to South County (Lorton, VA).
