Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), 10-6 in a league battle.

The Vikings now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minisink Valley for a Section 9 Division II battle on Friday, April 12.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 11. Cornwall Central will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Goldbacks come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 17-8 non-league loss to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY).
